AAIW to Feature Joint International Event In a landmark agreement between the trade associations sponsoring Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week (AAIW) 2003 in Las Vegas, this year the event will feature a consolidated international reception. Show sponsors AAIA, MEMA and SEMA agreed to consolidate events in order to facilitate global networking opportunities and add value to the industry's largest trade shows. The AAIW/Overseas Automotive Council (OAC) International Reception is scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 4, at Treasure Island. More than 1,000 participants from 113 countries attended in the AAIW/OAC International Reception in 2001, the last time the joint event was held.
